A Long Forgotten Love

When I was in high school I used to crochet all the time. In fact snuggling up on the couch, watching the Vikings game, and working on an afghan or project was my favorite--even before my love of sewing (if that is even possible!) Then life got busy, sewing took over and my crocheting took a back seat for awhile...a long while.

It wasn't until just a few night ago I remembered how much I loved and missed it. So I decided to dig out some of my old supplies and play a bit.

A few days later and some Joann Fabric trips made to restock, I had a project complete: The infinity scarf. I just love the fullness of it and the rich, warm color.

The boot cuffs I thought I would experiment with tonight and....success! Love, love, love them. I might have to test them out this weekend and make a few more in different colors and styles:)
